Despite confusing time jumps and several noticeable plot holes, the film’s atmospheric tension, convincing performances, and effective use of ritualistic horror create an immersive experience that feels disturbingly real. Ultimately, it becomes a tragic yet tender story about belief, consequence, and the lengths a mother will go to face the darkness for her child.
