Conceptually this could've been a solid 1990s crime-thriller, maybe under the direction of Joe Carnahan or something As it is, it's watchable enough I guess and we do get some minor Nicolas Cage craziness in there but other than that, there's no other great performances including David Caruso who continues to prove with this and later Jade, is not a movie star. And I'm not sure why Jackson took this role especially this coming post Pulp Fiction.
